    Dr Bartosz Goreck

    ACUPUNCTURIST

Bartosz is GMC registered medical doctor, specialising in internal medicine.
Whilst appreciating the benefits of Western medicine, he felt it lacked a holistic approach.Eager to explore other medical systems, he discovered acupuncture.
After a 4-year foundation course in Chinese medicine (and acupuncture) in 2011, he set out to explore different acupuncture styles. And discovered that Japanese acupuncture delivers the best results both for his chronic and acute patients.
He has extensively studied Kiiko Matsumoto Style (KMS) and used it exclusively for the last 5 years in his practice - the London Acupuncture Centre. This unique system uses
abdominal palpation to refine the clinical diagnosis. It also uses a gentle needling technique, such that the acupuncture treatment is relatively painless.

Backed by his medical knowledge, Dr Bartosz is well vested in using acupuncture to complement Western medical treatments.

His three main areas of expertise are hormonal imbalance (i.e. gynaecology problems), regulating the immune system (i.e. allergies, autoimmune diseases) and balancing the autonomic nervous system (i.e. insomnia, chronic fatigue, anxiety, digestive problems).
His sessions are dynamic, and the patient is an active part of the treatment process. By observing his patient’s feedback, Dr Bartosz can refine point selection to achieve notable improvements during the very same treatment.
